Gordon Harling

Gordon Harling received a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Science from the University of Toronto and a MaĆ®trise en IngĆ©nierie Physique from Polytechnique MontrĆ©al.He has worked in Research and Development at large companies such as Mitel, NovAtel, and DALSA. He has been a founder and CEO of several start-up companies including Goal Semiconductor, Elliptic Technologies, and Innotime Technologies.He joined CMC Microsystems in February 2018 as President and CEO.

JƩrƩmie Farret

JƩrƩmie Farret is CTO of Inmind Technologies and CEO/CTO of its subsidiary Mind in a Box. A systems architect educated at INSA, he has 30 years of experience in embedded systems, analytics, and simulation across sectors including transportation, medical imaging, banking, and cybersecurity.An early adopter of AI since the late 1990s, he has led several Scale AI projects and is a recognized international speaker at events such as World Summit AI, ASPAI, and ITSec. His work focuses on sovereign AI, critical infrastructure optimization, and applied AI for strategic challenges.Through Mind in a Box, he develops eco-responsible, cost-efficient DataOps and MLOps solutions, serving clients across three continents in data intelligence, cybersecurity, and AIoT.

RƩmi Duquette

With over 24 years of experience delivering practical, high-impact solutions, RĆ©mi Duquette leads Maya HTT’s Industrial Edge/IIoT and Industrial AI business. A sought-after speaker, he has spearheaded dozens of successful AI, machine learning, and simulation projects across diverse industries.His career highlights range from being a young short-track speed skating champion to contributing to the structural design and analysis of five spacecraft currently in orbit. Known for his expertise in mission-critical environments, RĆ©mi brings a unique blend of technical excellence and strategic vision to every client engagement.He is passionate about bridging the gap between advanced technology and real-world industrial challenges, and continues to mentor the next generation of engineering innovators.

Stefano Butti

Stefano is the CEO and co-founder of Servitly. With 25 years of experience in software engineering and digital transformation, he is passionate about connected services, a new type of service emerging from the convergence of two domains: The Internet of Things (IoT) and servitization. Stefano is one of the authors of the Digital Product-Service (DPS) system concept. He dedicates much of his time and energy to defining and implementing connected services strategies for equipment manufacturers and service providers.From 2001 to 2018, he was the CEO and co-founder of WebRatio, a software company and a spin-off of the Politecnico di Milano that focuses on low-code software development. Stefano graduated with honors in computer engineering from Politecnico di Milano and ENSTA Paris in 2001.

Sergio Gusmeroli

Sergio Gusmeroli finalized his education at Politecnico di Milano in 1986. After several experiences in different branches of the ICT domain, in June 2000, he was appointed director and operating manager of the International Research & Innovation Unit of TXT e-solutions, an IT company leader in EU for Supply Chain management solutions. In TXT he coordinated diverse FP7 EC funded projects in the ICT for Manufacturing domain: COIN, MSEE, TELLME, FITMAN, OSMOSE. Since 2015, Sergio is a research coordinator for Politecnico di Milano and is in charge of many HORIZON Europe Factories of the Future projects such as AIREDGIO5.0, CLARUS, CIR4FUN about Manufacturing Digital Transformation with a specific focus on SMEs. Sergio is active member of AIOTI (EU alliance for AI, IOT and edge computing innovation) and BDVA (EU Big Data Value Association), co-leading the Smart Manufacturing Industry group and coordinator of Circular TwAIN Project – Combining AAS specifications for Digital Twins with AI methods and Industrial Data Spaces in the circular manufacturing domain. Finally Sergio is collaborating with the EU AI Ecosystem and in particvular with AI-oriented Digital Innovation Hubs (EDIH2.0) and Testing and Experimentation Facilities (TEFs)

Stefano Linari

Stefano Linari grew up in Massa Marittima (GR – Maremma), where he began working at an early age in the family workshop, developing a strong practical mindset that he later combined with an honors degree in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Pisa in 2003. He was exempted from compulsory military service by the Army for scientific merit, in recognition of the contribution he was making at CERN to the discovery of the Higgs boson, which later earned his team the Nobel Prize in Physics in 2013, accepted by Professors Higgs, Gianotti, and Tonelli.He left Fermilab in Chicago in 2009 to devote himself to his first company, Linari Engineering, which has since evolved into a holding company that has given rise to four technology firms, all now recognized as global leaders in their respective fields: Linari Nanotech, producing nanomaterials for biotechnology and advanced materials; Linari Medical, focused on neurorehabilitation in telemedicine; Alleantia, industrial IoT software; and iProd, an IoT marketplace and machine customers platform.

Walter Knitl

Walter is the president of AIoT Canada and founder and CEO at Praxiem. As AIoT Canada’s president, he guides and manages the definition and execution of AIoT Canada’s mission. As CEO and prime consultant at Praxiem, Walter advises clients on product management, commercialization, and ecosystem assessment with an added focus on IoT. He is a codeveloper and presenter of an IoT workshop, has presented on IoT at numerous events, and has produced and hosted IoT conferences.

Before Praxiem, Walter had extensive experience in the telecommunication sector at large international companies in diverse roles ranging from hardware and software R&D to product management, business development, account management, and standards development.
